Three tiers. Pick the one that matches how you actually work.

Bothy is built for nonprofits with 25–100 active funding opportunities. If you need a 10,000-funder database, you want Instrumentl. If you need a fundraising tool that helps your team stay, you want us.

If you're the only person doing the funding work…

You're a dev director, an ED who's also the fundraiser, or the one grants person at a small shop. Bothy stays out of your way: the full pipeline, stewardship, reporting, and funder log live in one workspace you set up yourself in an afternoon. We don't need a sales call. You don't need a seat for anyone else. Solo is the tool only — you bring your own funder list. We give you a CSV template; you fill it in (or paste from a spreadsheet) and your pipeline is populated. If you want us to research the funders for you, that's Pro.

If you're a team of two or three…

You've got a development director and an executive director, or a grants manager and a coordinator. The work spans more relationships than any one person can hold. Pro adds three seats, the full custom Bothy-verified opportunity build (25–50 funders researched specifically for your org), quarterly refresh of that list, and migration help if you're leaving GrantHub or Salesforce.

If you're running a coalition or a multi-program shop…

Five seats, monthly refresh of your opportunity list instead of quarterly, AI-drafted reports pulling from your grant + stewardship + log data, priority support, and a quarterly strategy review with the Coach House team. For orgs whose fund development depends on more moving parts than two-or-three can hold.

None of these fit? Or just a specific question?

Email hello@bothy.so — I read every one, usually reply within a business day, and we'll work it out. Any 501(c)(3) under $100K annual revenue gets 50% off Solo indefinitely — no all-volunteer requirement. Migrating from GrantHub or Salesforce NPSP and want the setup fee waived? Multi-org collaborative pricing? Just ask.

Frequently asked

What does the $1,500 setup fee actually buy?+
A custom Bothy-verified opportunity build for your organization. Our team researches 25–50 grant opportunities specifically aligned with your mission, geography, budget tier, and program focus. Each funder profile is cross-referenced against authoritative foundation tax filings, IRS records, and our internal verified-funder library — not a single vendor database. Comparable grant consultants charge $5,000–$15,000 for this level of research; we're including it at signup because it's the moat that makes the tool actually useful from day one.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel from the customer portal — you'll keep access until the end of your paid period. We also offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on the setup fee.
I'm migrating from GrantHub — what do I get?+
We'll waive the $1,500 Pro setup fee, migrate your data from a GrantHub export for you, and give you 60 days free. Just show us any GrantHub invoice.
How does this compare to Instrumentl?+
Instrumentl is best if you need a 10K+ funder discovery database and AI prospecting — that's their lane and they do it well. We're built for nonprofits that already know who their funders are and need a workflow tool that doesn't drown them. Bothy is ~70–75% cheaper at every comparable tier: Solo $99/mo vs Discover $349/mo, Pro $149/mo vs Pre-Award $579/mo. Post-award reporting is included on every Bothy tier; Instrumentl gates it behind their $1,159/mo Full Lifecycle plan. Full side-by-side at /vs-instrumentl.
What if my team grows past 5 users?+
Reach out — we'll work out per-seat pricing. Most small-to-mid nonprofits stay within the 5-user Premium ceiling.
Do you offer a discount for small nonprofits?+
Yes. Any 501(c)(3) under $100K annual revenue gets 50% off the Solo tier indefinitely. No all-volunteer requirement — if you have one paid staff member but the budget is still small, you qualify. To verify, send us your most recent 990. If you're new enough that you haven't filed a 990 yet, your IRS determination letter from within the last year is enough — it tells us the org exists and explains why no 990 exists yet.
Is there a free trial?+
Solo includes a 14-day trial. We collect a card at checkout but don't charge until day 14, and you can cancel from the customer portal at any point during the trial without being charged. Pro and Premium include a setup call before any charge — you decide after the call whether to proceed.
Where's my data stored?+
Supabase Postgres, hosted on AWS US-East. Daily backups. SOC2 inheritance via the underlying infrastructure. You can export everything as CSV at any time, and if you cancel we keep your data for 90 days then delete it.
